The Programme has 41 options in the confluence of urban history with the fields of archives and archaeological sources, historical geography and city morphology, architecture and art history, planning and public space, urban social movements, and heritage and museology. It has been developed by several university centres, professional associations and civic organisations, with the Barcelona History Museum playing a prominent role and with the support of Barcelona UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture 2026. Some visits will be shared with people from local archives, heritage and history studies associations in Barcelona (translation will be provided in these cases.
Specific registration for workshops and visits, at no additional cost, will be open from June 16 to July 17, together with the registration for the opening and closing events (including keynote lectures), general assembly and conference dinner at El Born.
