The session organisers are responsible for:
- Reviewing and selecting session papers and round tables proposals based on their quality and thematic relevance.
- Informing the applicants before Monday, January 19, 2026 about the acceptance or the (justified) rejection of their proposal.
- Reminding the paper givers and panelists that they have access to the abstracts accepted within their session or round table.
- Reminding the paper givers and roundtable panelists to upload the complete version of their papers and presentations no later than Friday, August 7, 2026, and encouraging them to read the full version of each other’s papers and presentations before the Conference.
- Reminding the paper givers and panelists about the length of their oral presentation (10-15 min. and 5-10 min., respectively).
- Chairing the session or round table, including a presentation of its main goal and a short introduction on each of the paper givers or round table panelists, managing the time schedule, leading the discussion, rounding up and reflecting on potential publication.
Types of Sessions
- Main session
3 hours, 7 – 10 papers (maximum 12), presented in 10 – maximum 15 minutes, with time for questions and dialogue at the end of the session. - Specialist session
1,5 hours, 3 – 5 papers (maximum 6), presented in 10 – maximum 15 minutes, with time for questions and dialogue at the end of the session. - Round table
1,5 hours, 3 – 6 speakers with organizers acting as introducers and moderators included (maximum 7), to present a position in 5 – maximum 10 minutes, with time for questions and open dialogue.
